A psychological horror short film exploring the Idea of isolation, the horror of being alone in a forest that does not feel quite right, not knowing if you are the only one alive.
After assassinating the enemy’s captain, the man dies and wakes up in an unfamiliar forest and tries his best to survive yet the forest is playing tricks on him while showing hints that other people live here too or used to, every time he sees a trace of another person his hopes get crushed once again and he's slowly begins to lose grip on reality and see things that may or may not be actually there
Behind the scenes
Glimmer explores the profound psychological effects of forced isolation and how losing human connection can fracture the psyche. Heavily inspired by psychological survival horror games, the film follows a protagonist fighting to retain a grip on reality while trapped in a deceptive, unfamiliar forest.

Meet the Director
Glimmer is the culmination of months of visual development, character design, and narrative scripting, created as a graduation film project. Driven by a passion for experimental storytelling, psychological horror, and atmospheric world-building, Zaina Almomani took this piece from initial rough sketches to a complete 3D cinematic experience.
